Welcome to this Driver CPC Website, Virtue Training Ltd is a training provider, that delivers innovative solutions to its customers.
Our aim is to keep operators and professional drivers informed of the implementation of the Driver CPC and other training requirements.

From the 10th September 2008 all PCV drivers and from 10th September 2009 all LGV drivers who drive professionally will have to attend a course for Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence [DCpC] qualification, which is renewable in every five year period.

There is an initial qualification for new drivers when they take the driving test, periodic training will start for new drivers as soon as they pass their initial test, existing drivers will need to start their periodic training from the start date of the qualification for their licence category. The Driver CPC is being implemented by the Driving Standards Agency to improve the knowledge of lorry, bus and coach drivers which in turn will improve road safety.
